The Story of Noa Rog

When silence finds a voice.

Noa Rog is a 22 year old artist based in Israel whose artistic journey began at the age of five.

For seventeen years, art has been more than a passion. It has been her way of understanding herself and expressing the world within her.

Growing up, Noa was a shy, lonely, and introverted child who spent much of her time living inside her own mind. She carried a world full of thoughts and feelings but often struggled to express them out loud. Speaking in front of others felt intimidating, and she frequently found herself feeling misunderstood and alone.

Perhaps that's why she became so deeply connected to painting people.

There was something familiar about their eyes, their expressions, and their silence. Noa found herself creating figures whose lips remained still, yet whose eyes seemed to tell entire stories. People who couldn't speak, but somehow managed to express everything they felt through a single gaze.

In these figures, Noa recognized herself. Just as they struggled to find a voice, she often struggled to open her mouth and share what was happening inside her. She, too, wanted to be heard, understood, and seen. Through painting, she discovered a way to express the feelings she couldn't put into words; and, for the first time, she no longer felt quite so alone.

With the guidance of her beloved art teacher, Hani, who encouraged her, challenged her, and believed in her abilities, Noa gradually found confidence in something that had always been a part of her. The art studio became her safe place: a world where she could express herself freely without having to explain who she was.

Between the ages of five and fourteen, Noa spent countless hours at the studio, often staying long after her classes had ended simply because she wasn't ready to stop creating. Almost every week, she would settle into the back room of the studio, sit there alone for hours, and immerse herself in new paintings and projects. While other students might have been eager to head home after class, Noa wanted to stay a little longer, learn a little more, and see what else she could create. Even at such a young age, she knew how determined she was to become the best artist she could possibly be. She wasn't there because she had to be; she was there because she had found something she loved deeply, something she wanted to dedicate herself to completely.

Today, Noa shares her paintings with the world, inviting others into the quiet, emotional universe she has spent years creating. Through every face, every gaze, and every silent figure, she continues to give form to feelings that are difficult to express and to build connections that go beyond words.

She will continue creating her people; the people who reflect a part of her, carry her feelings, and remind her that even in silence, we can be understood.

Welcome to Noa's world, where the eyes speak and silence has a voice.
